VCIC: Venture Capital Investment Competition
The Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) is the world’s premier experiential finance competition, where MBA students from elite global universities like Cambridge, MIT, NYU, Yale, and others, assume the role of venture capitalists. Teams are given a few hours to evaluate real startups, perform due diligence, and negotiate term sheets before presenting their investment thesis to a panel of judges composed of active VCs.

At the BYU Marriott School of Business, the VCIC is a cornerstone of our experiential learning curriculum, translating classroom theory into real-world results. Our MBA teams have consistently proven their ability to identify and structure high-potential deals, establishing BYU as a dominant force on the global stage.
