Carlos E. Suffert

Prior to his MBA, Carlos earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFRGS, one of Brazil's most competitive programs. Between his undergraduate studies and the MBA, he worked in management consulting, pricing control, bankruptcy and debt restructuring, and heat load calculations. Driven by a disdain for inefficiency, Carlos consistently optimizes processes to make his team's workflow easier. He is currently on the MBA Finance Track, deepening his self-taught expertise in the field.

Last summer, he interned at Kelso Industries, acting as an internal consultant for one of their portfolio companies. Carlos also had a highly successful sports career as a competitive fistball athlete, playing for the decorated club Sogipa and winning a World Championship in 2017, as well as a U-18 World Cup in 2012. Nowadays, he enjoys playing various sports and making traditional Rio Grande do Sul-style barbecue.
