John Essig

Prior to pursuing his MBA, John graduated from Grinnell College with a BA in Economics. He went on to work in financial crimes compliance for Wells Fargo, Chipper Cash, and JPMorgan Chase. During his MBA, John has focused on venture capital, interning with the Campus Founders Fund and Kickstart Seed Fund, where his work included sourcing new investments, due diligence, supporting portfolio companies, and meeting with limited partners. John’s interests include travelling with his wife and their two kids, as well as hiking, mountain biking, and surfing.
