Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson, a 7th generation Arizonan, graduated from BYU–Hawaii with a bachelor’s
degree in business management, emphasizing supply chain and operations. While at BYU–
Hawaii, Ty started, scaled, and sold a food truck business called Beach Bus, interacting with
tourists from around the world. He served a mission in Argentina, where he developed a love for
service, seeing the world, and learning what motivates people. Having always been around
small businesses, Ty enjoys learning about small business strategy, and what drives and
motivates founders. Before attending BYU Marriott, he worked at Shyft Global in supply chain
and operations consulting, leading multicultural teams in China, Vietnam, and Mexico. Over the
summer, Ty completed an internship in England with Culligan UK, focusing on post-merger
integrations. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, cycling, hiking, home renovations, traveling,
serving in his church, smoking meat, and gathering friends.
